Do you publish an RSS feed for your blog through FeedBurner? Do you want to make your RSS feed more interactive? FeedFlare lets your readers Digg and ‘Scape your posts directly from your feed.

FeedFlare is a service from FeedBurner which adds a footer to the bottom of each post in your RSS feed. The footer can contain the following Official FeedFlares:

You can find many more FeedFlare Units here and here. Feedburner provide an open API for developing new FeedFlare Units, so there are more becoming available all the time. If you are a propeller head type, you may even want to try developing one yourself…

With more and more blogs being consumed via RSS through feed readers, FeedFlare Units could become valuable tools in your efforts to promote and make money from your blog. You are more likely to get Dugg if you make it easier for your readers to do the Digging.

You can set up the FeedFlare service by clicking on the FeedFlare link under the Optimize tab for you feed in Feedburner.

You do good work…which has earned you a spot in the newest edition of A Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Blogosphere.

I haven’t published one of these lists for awhile…so I’m working on this one a bit at a time over the next week or two. Until I have a list I’m happy with.

    Cheers!
