Get paid to contribute with myLot

This idea for earning money from your blog might be stretching the Monetize Your Blog theme a little, but stay with me. There are two ways in which this relates to my blog. But I will come to that later.

I first read about myLot (aff) at Mike’s Money Making Mission. Here is the blurb from the main page of mylot.com.

myLot is a growing community of individuals from around the world who enjoy sharing information, meeting new people, and helping each other out.

Members of the community are rewarded for their valuable contributions through monthly earnings payouts.

The basic idea is that you get paid for creating new discussions and responding to discussions created by others. Now, what has this got to do with making money from blogging? Read on.

For every new member you refer to myLot, you will be credited with the equivalent of 25% of their earnings. So, by writing about myLot on your blog and including your referrer link (like I am doing), you can earn money for each referral.

The second way myLot can help your blog is by promoting it. myLot permit you to include a hyperlink to your website in each post you contribute to myLot. As with any other blog promotion tactics, don’t overdo it. Only include your link on relevant posts.

Hopefully I’ve been able to draw these seemingly unrelated ideas together well enough for you to see the merit of myLot. If I have, you can become a member by clicking on my affiliate link here.

Hi Rafique. Thanks for the feedback. I have not had any trouble yet. Have you incurred some sort of penalty at myLot, or is it a technical glitch?
