Bidvertiser Affiliate Program

Just before Christmas, I signed up as a publisher with BidVertiser (affiliate link). Bidvertiser is a pay per click advertising program which claims to allow publishers (such as Bloggers) earn money through running ads on the publisher’s site. Since this is exactly what this blog is about, I decided to give Blogvertiser a go.

Bidvertiser is a Cost Per Click (CPC) advertising program. This means that you get paid every time a visitor to your site clicks on an ad. Advertisers bid to advertise on your site, with the advertising space going to the highest bidder.

Bidvertizer pay monthly through PayPal, with minimum earnings of $10 required to trigger payment.

I had some concern about running both Bidvertise ads and Adsense ads on the same pages as I had heard you were not allowed to run some other advertizing programs on the same pages as Adsense. However, I found a post which indicated it was okay. You may want to check this out yourself though.

The sign-up process was easy and I was able to put ads on my blog straight away. It looks like there are many ad styles and layouts available. I have put a skyscraper ad midway down my left sidebar just as a test. It is probably not in an ideal position, but I will tune it over time.

Bidvertiser also has a referral program whereby a member can refer new members to the Bidvertiser program and and get paid. When a publisher signs up via your referral and earns $100, you will get paid $20. I decided to give this a try as well and have added a link on my blog. I can’t really recommend the Bidvertiser program yet, as I have only just signed up. I will post more once I have had a chance to experiment more and have some results to report.
