Free Advertising with Palkey

I don’t know exactly what Palkey is, but they claim to offer free online advertising. Palkey looks like a search engine but I think it only contains websites submitted by members. When I went to the site it told me there were approximately 2,500 users online. It also said it was free to add a listing. When I looked for more information, I got the following blurb:

Each time a keyword is searched, your listing will move one step upwards within all the listings registered for that particular keyword.

Gradually your listing will inch upwards until it reaches top of the listings.

After your listing reach the top position, it will go to the last position where it started for the next search on that keyword and move upwards in the same way.

This rotation will go on indefinitely and your listing will appear at the top of the search results multiple times depending on the total searches made on that keyword.

This ensures an equal opportunity for all the webmasters to introduce their products to the world no matter whether they have enough funds to advertise or not.

So I decided to give it a go - it all looked harmless enough. The sign-up process was dead easy. Just entered my email address and a password and I was in.

Once I had signed up, I added my blog to the Palkey listings. At this point I was able to add a list of keywords for my blog. Once all this was complete, I searched Palkey with my keywords and sure enough, up popped my listing.

I have only just added my listing and I don’t have any traffic yet. I will post my findings on the amount of traffic (if any) this exercise generates in a future post.

Well, I’ve just signed up, so if it all goes wrong, I’ll blame you ;-)

I’ll let you know if I’m flooded with traffic….
