It has come to my attention that much of what gets blogged around the world is consumed via rss. Therefore, in an effort to gain exposure, I have added a link at the bottom of each of my posts encouraging readers to subscribe to my rss feed if they enjoy the content.
I don’t know how successful this will be, but I have subscribed to other blogs’ rss feeds on the basis of such a link. I would be interested to hear other bloggers’ experiences with this kind of exercise. Also, from a reader’s point of view, is it useful, or just annoying?
